GLEDSWOOD ENTRY & PARKING PLAN

From about 9.45am the paddock on the far side of the circular drive opposite the venue for the President’s Picnic. The paddock is the place to park your cars in lines according to body shape (NAs, NBs & NCs) or park to set up a stall or sell off a trailer or ute etc., in front of the lines of MX-5s.

If you arrive in a car other than a MX-5 or plan to leave the area before 12.30pm then you will be directed to park behind the NCs. Somewhere between 50 to 60 MX-5s are expected to park on the day so please be patient.

Gledswood have provided a private fenced off area to park our cars that is closed to their other visitors on the day. Access to the parking area is a grassy unsealed section of road off to the left of the farm entry road immediately before the large public car park shown on the Entry Plan.

Your enter our area over a cattle grate at an old farm gate then onto a gravel drive. You are not to drive up or park on the drive past the point where you leave the drive to go onto the grass in the paddock unless directed. Most, if not all, of us will be directed to park in your appropriate line between two stakes with a model sign attached in accordance with the Parking Plan. You should park three (3) paces away from the next car and park in the order that you enter the lines. Hopefully the lines will be fifteen (15) paces apart.

If you have a stall, table, trailer etc to sell merchandise then you will directed up the drive to part next the drive before the line of NAs.

We have 26 individual cars nominating when you merge both threads on the Forum. The Club has 78 people registered for the President's Picnic. Looks like a roll up of between 50 to 60 cars on show at Gledswood on Sunday.

Spoke with Russell who is hard at work in his garage & yet to decide if he should stick with black for the “Bling” or finish the job to go silver with the good “Bits”’for Sunday.

Hello everyone, I am bringing my trailers to the venue but I need a silver NA, NB or NC and a grace green (british racing green) NB, with a towbar, so I can display the trailers properly. You will NOT be towing the trailers, just sitting them behind your car.
Please call and let me know if you can, thanks Paul 0412 48 48 36.
so much fun, why didn't I get one sooner !!!!!!

Check the Parking Plan in a post above. You can park in the area set aside for trailers and stands between the line for NAs and the gravel drive

I was having a seniors moment and gave you the wrong advice above as you are not displaying a trailer for sale like Paul. You must park up the back behind the OTHERS line to allow you the freedom of movement on entering or leaving the paddock. The paddock is a not small at a few hectares. If you have any concern about low tree branches then opposite the turn in area to our parking area, Gledswood have a large gravel parking area that you can use.

What a super day! Apart from a fresh start to the morning the weather was tops and the run and cars and bling even better.

Here are a few happy snaps from different parts of the day.
