From another youtube video:
Performance Mods: Mazda 6 L5 2.5L block, Ohlin Coil Overs, Racing Beat Header, 17x9 wheels and 4.1 Diff. The head, induction, and brakes are standard NC. Running Road 180 Treadwear rubber (NA08s) so had to lift in some places to stay on the track.

The Mazda 6 L5 Block gives me a little more HP at the wheels (164) and a lot more torque. On the down side I loose 1000 RPM as there is nothing after 6000 RPM.

Looks like 500cc goes a long way.

http://mx5cartalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=68&t=52306 Reading about it makes me feel like giving up the NA for a NC...

Certainly NOT temp it being the 'switch!! Hopefully the day will be mid 20's John so at least the tyres can get some heat!

Was referring to the number of entries, 29 Tuesday night and I know at least another 3-4 that will be going that are still to pay :D

Trying to convince my mate to come in his mps 6  He'll be paying tomorrow if he can take the day off.

Getting pretty pumped!

Have a bit of prep work to do though :(
Cheers,

Gettin' pretty pumped? Really, I think we all do! Having so much fun regardless of how fast we go, meeting new friends all with that common interest and helping each other - that's what it's all about

As 'MINX' will attest to, I start counting the days the moment the previous track day is over!! On 17 September around 7pm I will say 'ONLY 63 MORE SLEEPS TO LAKESIDE!!'

No 'sheep stations' !! I'd prefer a coal mine!! :)

Just finished a session on the Dyno at GT Auto. Here are graphs for before and after contributions from Tomei, Gary Stewart and last but not least Michael Mann from Moto-East.
