Does anyone know what the wheels two in and two up from the bottom right are?
Thinking about getting something like that for my red NA6.

Give them a ring tomorrow and speak with Jason if possible! 07 3863 5858

I'm sure if you email the pic up to them they can identify and price for you. Deanne will be there and can give you the best email address to send to, perhaps also make a post on the topic 'MX5 Plus Open Day' and Danny will see it

Good luck!!

Some very nice cars there, Danny's got some good taste. Met Danny at wtac, he was kind enough to take us into the pit area to see Nemo up close, really nice guy

Regie wrote:I must say that Danny's factory/Business and car collection is absolutley sensational. It was a great pleasure to finially put some faces to names and meet a great bunch of people! There were some fantastic examples of MX5's coming and going all day.

T'was a fantastic day Adam! :D I'm still shocked that you made such a huge effort to attend! There were actually a lot of MX-5's that we'd never seen before..which is one of the reasons we hold the event.

Regie wrote:The highlight of the day would have to be (apart from the free BBQ :P) a spin in Danny's SC NC. I have now had a pretty good comparison against the HKS setup and the Cosworth. Although the cosworth setup site up high, it looks like it belongs there. The HKS charger sits down low, you really have to look hard to find it. Danny has engineered a piece of art in that engine bay!
First thing i noticed when the car was started was the noise, at idle you can head the SC whirring away through the air filter. You know something is under the hood compared to the Cosworth setup noice wise.
After a quick warm up, Danny gave it the beans, and man did this thing go! all the way to redline when the bypass valve opened and a massive woosh was heard. The power delivery felt a bit different to the Cossie setup, this felt more like a turbo, as Danny mentioned it creates no boost under idle and builds up as the revs increase. Looking forward to this setup being on sale soon!

Thanks for the positive feedback Adam. What you experienced was final pre-production version of the kit and we are now in the process of finalising component costings to ensure that it is (cost) competitive with the other NC FI kits available in the market place. I'm not going to be able to commit to a date as yet...but I'd love to have it available not too far into 2013.

Regie wrote:Many thanks to Stu for the airport transfers (much better than a Taxi), Danny for putting the day on and the ride in the NC, Roger for offering me accomodation for when i head up there for a club track day. All all the rest of the Brissy crew for making this a fantastic day!

Yep that's definitely one thing about the MX-5 community...always keen to help someone out when they put their hand up! 8) You can be assured we'll do it all again next year!

Cheers,
Danny

regie

To get the sticker, you'd have to buy the car!! Not sure exactly where it came from or if the brace was original factory fitment. I should have shown you the scrutineering stickers inside the bootlid for 'Sportland' in Japan - link below

http://www.motoracing-japan.com/circuit/04_sugo.html

Will see if I am smart enough to take some pics of those and post here for you

Unfortunately because the car is 1989 manufacture, it was much 'pre-internet' so not a lot of info available. It's Eunos/Miata/MX5 number 2811, BUT, the red NA beside it last Saturday is Matt R's and it is also 1989 and number 321 !!

I did make a mistake earlier, it's NOT 'Mazdaspeed' but 'Roadster', identical to the 'Roadster' badge on the rear of the car

Another purchase made this evening.

A spare set of NC headlights, and some Acura TSX projector assemblies.

I am hoping to black out the surrounds and get a look like this:

and a headlight beam like this (the bottom image) :D
