Charlie is your dash a logging dash or display only? If not do you have any plans for data logging?

It can do it but i need to buy the attachment for it but tbh that doesn't interest me at all. All I wanted was something to display everything I needed in front of me and this does it.

Update from yesterday at qr :). Finally got some decent track time with not many issues :). Pb on both sprint and clubman with a 1.02.0 on clubman and a 59.5 on sprint. I still think I can get into the 1.01s on clubman and theres definitely room to move on these tires in sprint. Happy to get sub 60's on sprint with street tires though.

I'll do a full recap on the day with vids and pics later :)

yeah plan is to get some nt01's at some point but tbh im intrigued to see how quick i can go on these tires so i might order another set of these and go from there. i reckon i could go 61's on clubman and 58's on sprint with not to many issues imo..

sweet. nt01's are apparently pretty quick. i thick khumo v70's are also very fast and come in a 225 45 15 from memory. but very expensive.

Update :)

Track recap.

This week ive been sick as with the flu hoping id get better before the trackday on thursday.. that wasnt to be. But i pushed through anyways. Drove out to Queensland Raceway early in the morning to start a day of racing :D Plenty of fog greated me when i got out there which is cool.. I like the fog..

Image

Parked up, signed in and got given my pit bay while i waited for driver briefing.. Lets just say i wasnt feeling the best at this point..

Image

Driver briefing over and it was time to get racing.. First up was the clubman circuit. This one i wasnt to fond of before yesterday but its pretty fun now. First session out i was all over the place, understeering everywhere and oversteering is places.. Was really messy. Came off twice i think and yeah i didnt enjoy it :P next session was better but got a fair bit of traffic unfortunately but managed to do a 62.1 :)

Was stoked with my time so i was excited to get back out there.. Third session i saw consistant low 62's :)

In car vid.. this shows where i smashed my lip when i went off lol

Next up was sprint track. No issues yet or so i thought.. went out first session and the car was really hesistant coming onto boost. So i went back in pretty much straight away.. Looked around but couldnt see any issues.. Second session out it was the same but cleared up so i pushed it. Finally dropped into sub 60's with a 59.5. Very stoked with that.

Heres the in car vid

Arvo session came and went back out on clubman track and once again beat my pb with a 62.02 :D Not by much but enough haha. Car was starting to feel really good and i was getting use to it now. Few sessions later they opened back up sprint track to finish the day. Once again the car was really hesitant and would not rev over 5.5k rpm :/ i was confused by this.. Decided to come back in and give it a rest and then try again next session. Went back out and it just wasnt getting better. I decided to call it a day and leave on a high before i broke something :P

The next day i took it for a drive to see how it felt and it was perfect again.. Have no idea why it went the way it did but yeah... stupid cars. Anyways its back in it street mode ready for a few events over the weekend :)

Charlie

Great times, great video, great pics!!

Well done getting those laps times, I'd match them but just haven't found a short-cut!! Was that 'little off' in turn 3 the one that did the damage?

See ya tomorrow at the Open Day
