SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS RUN - 25TH AUGUST 2012

not sure if anyone noticed on their trip back upo to Sydney on the Hume

just after the skydive place in the middle of the road there was a dark coloured car, boot up with a camera sticking out of it...the car was covered in that cammo net stuff....

i did a triple take, i saw the lense first then noticed the net over the car

Anyone else notice it??

was that before or after we split from you guys at appin road reggie? I didn't notice a thing. Pretty sure we were doing legal speeds the entire day though, so hopefully no issue. Way too nice of a day for them to not be out in the sunshine looking for high speed chases to enjoy, not worth the risk...

Was a nice day shame we only got there for the BBQ and had to leave shortly after its a nice spot that we had not been to before

And Reggie, I didn't notice that car at all but you've got me a tad worried haha. I did see a nice silver SE from Vic tagging along behind us for a while on the Hume though

It was great to come and have a look at your cars at Avon Dam, hopefully next time I will be driving my own MX5.
Just need to find one now....

Congratulations Josh for your excellent work on organising the Southern Highlands Run. You kept everyone together and managed to get everyone to Avon Dam for the picnic. It was great to see several more people rock up for lunch too. That road into the Dam is pretty special, eh? Very successful run for the Illawarra Chapter! :mrgreen:

Phew! A huge weekend is almost over. After I did this run on Saturday morning, I zoomed home for a quick shower then we headed up to Harrington Park for a BBQ at a mate's place. Consumed lots of red wine and stayed the night in a spare room. Then I was up at 5:30 to drive Little Reddy to Wakefield Park, where we had 40 odd laps. Home at last, dinner is done and I'm now ready to collapse!

I'm sorry I missed the run, sounds like a good day ! But I woke up crook on Saturday and some doodlehead ran into my partners Roadster. :roll:

So we had our own run this morning, one MX off for a service the other off to the panel beater. I have to say the insurance company has been very helpful so far....anyhoo any more pics from the run?
