The drivers are educated to be lined up and ready for their runs .. barring no incidents you should get at least five [5] runs

Last meet at Lakeside we got seven [7] runs, ran as usual like a 'well oiled machine' !!

5 WEEKS TO GO

Everyone! Only 35 more sleeps to go!! Don't forget to arrange your CTP extension with the Insurer that appears on your registration papers, a few left it until the actual day last time but managed to get them thru!!

Hopefully the lap timing transponders will be available for purchase rather than hire at the next meet - I will check with them maybe one week out and see how that is going

saboteur

OK, then a run up to see 'justabitrusty', and then back down the M1, call into my place, another coffee!! Five weeks should give you enough time to run 1500-2000km up!! I average 250km a weekend just going for a coffee each morning, sometimes a run up to Steve Irwin Way and back, blows the cobwebs out!! :D

Just a reminder, only 4 weeks from next Monday until QR Track Day!!

A few things to remember to do:

For the best value make sure you pay your entry fee on or before Monday 3 September to get the discount - remember when making payment as a reference put your name - example: John Citizen-TrackDay, so the Treasurer and Competition Secretary know who made the payment

Download and print your Indemnity form from the Club website

Ring your CTP Insurer [the one that appears on your Registration papers] and get them to prepare a 'CTP Extension' you, make sure you nominate the date [17 September 2012] aas the date you require it for

http://www.mx5clubqld.com.au/?page_id=51

Refer to the above website for all information, and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to raise them here and someone will cruise past and provide an answer for you!!

Finally, flick the Competition Secretary an email so he has an idea of how many intend competing at the following email address [Mark does not normally reply, he just takes the info and prepares the Groups for the day according to your previos times]

compsecmx5@miata.net.au

All newcomers are welcome, there will be plenty of drivers there only too happy to give you some assistance and help guide you on your first day

See you all there!! :D

Positive report at AGM last night
Thanks to good numbers turning up this year the club track days are financially viable to continue
Good work from Comp Sec and Roger and few others to get the systems in place to run the days well, and promote the days has paid off

MINX

Thanks!! But it is really a 'team effort' of all of those that compete, everyone is prepared to 'chip in' and assist when needed

Good news anyway to say we are in the 'black' for the year to date :D

I'm paid up and ready to go... Will be a nice way to recover from 10 days driving around tassie....

And I should be a bit quicker too, some borrowed tyres, and new brakes, if they arrrive in time from the states, for the car. If I don't have clearance issues and a quick blat around the local traffic calming devices seems to indicate i won't, I'm hoping for anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 seconds a lap quicker if it is fine and sunny.
