Hey Charlie, do you have a log of intake temps that you can share? I'm curious to see what most folks run with and your intercooler doesn't look that massive, so I'm interested to learn what is seens as typcial and normal for when under hard boost/track work.

Does your ECU allow you to easily log data?

Did you get insured shipping, if so and the carton was damaged claim on them.

otherwise raise the issue of it being improperly packed with the seller and ask for replacement / refund

Yes, send a nice polite email to the seller with pictures, and ask for a replacement. Then sell me the busted one for $50.

Really unlucky.
If all else fails, there is a bloke in brisbane who makes repairs to C/F parts and bikes etc. He made a repair for me on my track bike. You couldn't even see the repair marks.

Update:

So decided to just repair and repaint the boot.. because the corners snapped off theres a bit of work in fixing that and the crack so all up with respray its looking to be $500 :'(. After the initial quote over the phone of $300 theres more work involved then he though so FML. Talk about an expensive bootlid :O. Better look farking sick haha :P

Also went out today and bought a new/better helmet and visor.. My one atm is sh*t and to tight so i want something that is gonna fix me better.
Image

Got my spacers from Bill @ Miataroadster.com. 20mm for the rear and 15mm for the front.. This will be used for the bbk when he finishes them and will always fill out the guards a lot better. Pics will come with them mounted soon.

Image

Plugs will finally be here tomorrow so that the wiring harness is almost finished. Thank ƒü¢k. A few more things and its ready to race on the 30th :) Very keen

Update:
So today has been a sick day. First off. Went to work and got told im doing a night shift so i got to go home :D Thought about what to do and decided to make a cluster panel to mount my Stack cluster to :)

Went down and got a template of the cluster, traced that onto some flat material i had laying around at home and proceded to cut the shape out :)
Image

Went back down to test fit it and make sure it was gonna work. It was. So i traced out where i needed to cut a hole in a the back and came back home to do that. Few coats of paint later and it was ready to go. Took it back down with a drill to drill the holes in the back to mount the actual cluster. All goooood.

Image

and test fitted it in the cabin :D

Image

So wrapped with the outcome. Very very happy with it :D One less thing to do now ;)

Also the plugs ive been waiting for finally came in :) So my harness was finished off ready to be put back into the car :D :D

I love how simple and focused your interior is. Do you still have a heater? Just noticed that you've still got the holes in the top of the dash for demisting. Sorry if you've mentioned this somewhere, but I can't be bothered going through 54 pages to try and find it. :P

Try putting some rainex or catcrap on the inside of the windscreen dude, you can get them from motorbike shops for putting on the inside of your visor to stop it from fogging up on rainy rides. Works great

Time for the next meet! Once again, we have a sausage sizzle, promo girls, demo cars, it's all here. Put it in your diaries, coz you definitely don't want to miss this!

To be able to keep this as a regular meet, it is important that you follow the CONDITIONS OF ATTENDANCE

*YOU are responsible for the guys you bring to the meet, and hang with. If they act like idiots, we will find out who it was. Brisbane is a very small place. In addition, we will be recording number plates for both insurance and policing purposes.
*THROW RUBBISH IN THE BIN. There's bins - use them. If they're full, just chuck it in your car and throw it out next time you fill up.
*Dont do skids, laps, rev engine, be antisocial in any way.
*Plates will be recorded and forwarded to the cops, depending on how much of a hottie you are. Dropping skids on the grass will be reported to police. We will also have a camera on the exit to film people doing skids to leave. Do iit somewhere else guys - I'll even give you some tips as long as you don't do it at our meet.

Date: Saturday 1 September 2012, 2 - 5pm

Location: Rocklea Showgrounds, Goburra Street, Rocklea. Link to map http://g.co/maps/xdnm3 HERE. We will be using the trotting track to park up around the edge..

The meets are open to any cars, whether they be JDM, Euro, Hot Rod or Aussie. The idea is to have like-minded, respectful, appreciative people there, who can also follow some very basic rules. IF you can do those things, we'll see you at the meet, and you'll be welcomed with open arms.

I'd love to go but it seems a bit awkward going in a car with barely any offset, have to wait at least 4 weeks for my wheels :frown:
