chinos Na6 (Kit car)

Postby chino » Thu Aug 09, 2012 5:12 pm

Hey guys, im unsure where i did my last build post but i know it was in the wrong section, so id thought id start again since my car is starting to be put together again.

Before i start, i would like to re-affirm that YES it is a kit car, i wished it was just an ordinary na6 body but i inherited the car as a gift and i cant change the body on it as all the panels have been customised. So im just working with what ive got.

Currently the car has the following parts installed or to be put in. Its currently being painted Ford Focus electric orange.

more engine work will commence after i come back from Japan and get myself ITB's

Engine
HKS headers
Beat rush strut
ARC intake chamber
Customised exhaust
GarageStar wiper cowl

Wheels/Suspension
SSR Professor SP1 15x8 +3
Tien super street coil overs

Exterior
Electric orange paint
3 piece z3 Kit, sits a bit wider then the stock Na6 body
Autokonexion Carbon boot lip
DAMD carbon lip (from evo)
Smoked z3 tail lights
Angel eyes z3
APR Carbon mirrors
Hard Top
Hard top g wing visor
Hamann Front Carbon Lip ( cant fit this as my car is too low now.. )

Interior
Bride low max seats
Bride seat rails
re-trimmed interior in leather with orange stitching (car previously had painted/trimmed interior in red/white)
Brown Davis roll bar
Auto Exe steering wheel
Auto exe gear knob
Auto exe speedo/cluster cover
Carbon Centre console ( unsure which car to put this in, as the carbon looks Poo)

Thanks goes to HJT (hayden) MRPHAM and HKS_kansei for helping me with parts, and nitrodann for your time and insight to the motor (also Mrpham)

Which Bride seats are they?

The centre console is very cool...to cool for a track car?

I got your facebook message and ill reply via that avenue shortly!

The car is coming together nicely, the wheels suit your car so much more than mine. (I still love them)

Keep it updated when you get back, I want to see the car when the paints finished!

Car is finally heading into the paint shop in 3 hours after a 7 month wait.

Hopefully the parts will all be in by Sunday!

How do you access the engine bay with that front?

Does the entire front section (including bumper) lift up, or does it come off altogether?

Usually they just lift off.
