Re: Fire extinguisher
Just to echo the comments already, just buy yourself a new one for ~$30 and put the old one in your kitchen cupboard, garage, workshop, etc. It's hardly worth the effort of running around to find someone to test & tag it for you.
It's also worth noting the Supp Regs for MX-5 Club of NSW track days:
If you're in Class 1 to Class 8 (road registered) or a road registered car in Class 9 to Class 12, fire extinguishers are not compulsory.
It's also worth noting the Supp Regs for MX-5 Club of NSW track days:
MX-5 Club of NSW wrote:13 a) All road registered cars competing must be roadworthy. Fire extinguishers, although not mandatory, are recommended.
13 b) Non road registered cars should be in a condition suitable to be dríven on the track. They should have a fire extinguisher, a blue triangle (for battery) and two bonnet fastenings
