Removed bride and fitted stock seat since im having some body work done and the guy doing the work is old and cant handle a fixed back . Vacuumed underneath the seat and interior, cleaned the rest of the car, fitted hard top side latch striker plate and NO MORE RATTLING! Then took it for a spin through the hills and enjoyed the car as it should be.

I totally cleaned the interior and vacuumed the floor. Car looks so much nicer and fresher. But now I've found a rattle at the left rear. Seems to be from that thin brake cover thingy, but I can't tell for sure. It's very noticable under accel at low rpm

I'm actually looking forward to being back at work. Friday was gold coast to Iswich return, Saturday was Gold Coast to Warwick (Morgan Park) return, Sunday was Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast club run return, Monday running around on the Gold Coast looking for a low profile jack (I was procrastinating and not in the mood to study), couldn’t find one
I went to change wheels and ended up using ramps to lift the rear up a bit to get the jack under. However I noticed that the wheel nuts (aluminium one) have been twisted due to excessive force from a rattle gun so I now need to replace these and put a note in that next time only go up to the correct torque.

Today Daniel finally pulled the motor out of Scooby. Exactly 2 months after I destroyed it.
7 weeks for Arias to finish a run of pistons for our cars. Apparently there is quite a demand for V8 pistons in the states.(who would have guessed)
Richard.
