Some one call The Pirate. They'll need to get that back to Ballina.

Minx, Yep that was me cutting the grass. That was what i like to call a hardware judgement error. I was having issues with oversteer the session prior and between putting fuel in, laser temping my tires, checking pressures and going to get my times i forgot to change dampening settings in the rear when i got out of the car. Just before that run i wound the setting harder not softer like i should have and got super oversteer instead, causing me to drift most of Hungry until i turned it round and backed it off the track. Apparently I came to within a foot of hitting a wall off the back end of eastern loop too! LUCKY! Excellent day as usual, thanks to all involved.

PS Pirate and RWF my performancebox logged time for my fastest lap of the day was 1.04:902, i like that time better!

Great photos Mattay.

Having only 3 groups on the day meant more track time but meant there was little time to do anything between laps other than pop the hood, give the car a once-over, collect your results, take a wiz, re-hydrate and get ready for the next session.

I like to check out other cars and chat with other owners about their modz and what does and doesn't work on the car and track. Unfortunately there was almost no time to do this so your photos will have to suffice :P At least I got lots of track time on my first day out at Lakeside.

Great set of photos Matt. You have captured that there is so much more going on than just track time. Looking under bonnets. Socialising. Volunteers etc

Great collection of photos and Vids from what was obviously a fantastic day. You can imagine my angst not getting there, but an elderly family member passing to better places and moving house for ourselves in three D-max utes = no track time for me and the green meanie.
We will join you for the next one rest assured. QR was good but LS I hoped would be better... next time.Till then happy prepping!
Rich.
