It is with sadness that I must report that John Davies passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of 18 July, 2012. John has been involved with the club almost from inception of the hillclimb and has served as a committee member for more than 20 years, six of them as President. A memorial service to honour the life of John Davies who passed away on July 18 will be held at the MG Car Club of Qld Clubrooms, 8/16 Collinsvale St, Rocklea at 2.30pm on Saturday 28th July.
You are invited to come along to commemorate his life, his time as a member of the Qld Fire and Rescue Service and his time as a member and office-bearer of the MGCCQ.
Refreshments will be served after the joint service. Donations to a charity of the family's choice can be made on the day.
