Leaving Bribie around 8.15am, then coffee BP Southbound, should arrive at Lakeside around 9.15am - 9.30am, generally gates are open by then

Light showers forecast along the coast, looks fine now!!

Packed? I'd done that then found NOWHERE for me to sit! So back to the drawing board!! Full size spare, jack, esky, chair, helmet, backpack, 'spares box', geez not much room in an MX5, glad I don't have a passenger!!

Haha, sure I will look like 'National Lampoons Sunshine Coast Vacation'!!

ALL GOOD!! :D

zero00, I think I won't be far behind you... probably arrive at BP on Anzac for a final fill and coffee at around 9:15-9:30am, on the track between 9:45 and 10am (all depends how much fannying about I do).

I don't start with a FULL tank now, all that extra weight does make a difference, so mine will be down to around 3/4 full, I'd say we will get 5-7 runs, each run is around 15km total including warm-up and slow down! Not into carrying fuel cans in a car - but I guess that's why I get faster as the day goes, the load lightens off!!

I run a fairly rich/safe tune with the SC and so the economy at full stick is terrible. I'm unsure how long i will last on a single tank. Hopefully the full day, but I'm not taking any chances.

Looks like there will be a few unnaturally aspirated NA6's kicking around this session. :D

Great day at the tracks with the best time in Group 1 being 57 seconds.
Here are a few photos I took today.

A HUGE thanks to all the volunteers today, not all names are known, but Chris & Wendy, Mark, Kelvin, June, Matt and many others - without you all there is no way we could have run the day as well as it went!!

How about a HALF day and we get SEVEN runs!! Nice to see so many 'newbies' and also great to see so many PB's, myself included!! Most agree that was due to a combination of sunny weather and cool air, I know my car never missed a beat and felt so 'fresh'!!

Also many thanks to the 38 entrants that actually made it the day it was - A SUCCESS!!

Nice to have a coffee at the BP Northbound Burpengary with Chris & Wendy, Mark, Geoff & Ross, finished off the day nice

Sorry I couldn't get around to talk more to you all but then we no sooner got out of the car and we were back in again!! Well done to all of you and hope to see you all at QR on 17 September next!!

Awesome day today :) big thanks to the organizers.

So much track time I was amazed at how quickly everyone ran through. Unfortunately i couldn't make the most of the track time with my stupid problems lol :P

Oh well time to fix more things lol
