I have two annoying issues in my NC that may be connected.
1. When I turn hard left hand corners I hear a creaking noise from behind the drivers seat. Thought it was in suspension or a dry bush at first but I think it is higher in the car, sort of rear window height or higher, not sure how far back though.
2. Occasionally I have a vibration coming from behind the drivers seat, similar height as my point 1. Comes on when driving on rough roads and also when I rev engine to approx 3k.
Anyone else had similar issues or can suggest where to look?

The seat back rubbing on the trim there can make some annoying noises. Try moving the seat forward a smidge and see if it stops. Use some leather stuff or Aerospace 303 or similar on the seat back from time to time.

Well you'll have to pull the panel covers off from behind the seat and see which of the many plastic thingies (clips, locating pins, cubby locks, etc.) is squeaking. Search on this forum and miata.net for clues and photos showing how to pull that area apart and what to look for.

Could be the middle cubby hole, the latch becomes loose and needs tightening, there is a service bulletin on how to.

I don't think so, but where do I find the bulletin?

Two minutes on Google searching "nc mx5 service bulletins" revealed this: http://parts.arlingtonmazda.com/pages/MX5.html Check the 9th one from the bottom of the list and some of the others.
