Thanks to everyone who joined us, Michael for organising, and especially to Baz for sharing his drive with me today and leading the run.
The weather mostly held off but even better was the traffic- lack thereof which really helped us to make the most of the day.

If we ignore the Bungonia Triangle, that we often run, then I think apart from Zohxoco with his Reccie runs only Malcolm & Peter from the ACT and Jimbo, a newbie, have dríven sections of today’s route that is cheekily called the Long Circuit.
If you enjoy long straights and sweeping curves on good roads with little traffic for around 200km then visit the area south of Goulburn. A Route Map with directions is in "More Info" for this run on the Club’s Events Calendar. I think a good comparison between Wakefield Park Short Circuit and Long Circuit would be tracks like Monte Carlo and Le Mans that each provide a very different but rewarding driving experiences.
Zohxoco is a real trooper. On his second reccie to check out the state of the causeways the afternoon before his run, his clutch s#!t itself, he joined the NRMA, arranged for the NRMA to find him and his NC in the boondocks to tow it away, got back home from Goulburn that night and was at Pheasants Nest at 6.30am next morning as Barry’s navigator to lead his run. An eventful 15 hours.
To Baz10 & his better half on their 18 month run of the US roads in a mobile home , bon voyage, have fun and your presence will be missed . See you in 2014. If anyone wants tips on storing an MX-5 then send Barry a PM as he is experienced in this facet on MX-5 ownership.
PS. If it is raining and the roof is down, keep driving and the faster (within reason) the drier. That technique does not work on flooded causeways .

Heres the humble pictorial contribution from Mrs Villa.
Apologies for the volume, she got a bit snap happy with her new toy

As always a tremendous day out with the Breakfast Club. Think about Victor's porridge when you're hoeing into a deep fried, dairy rich, carb laden all american breakfast in a month or so Barry!

Well Kaitlin your photo bucket proves that you are not just a nice handbrake and pretty shotgun. The images are great and capture the drizzle, water courses, sunshine, good roads and companionship of the event. You have put the bar way up high for TImothy when he posts his images.

<cough> yeah well firstly I can't complete with Kaitlin, great images. As for my shots, well I forgot my main CF card, so I only had a small backup one on hand. And what with all the navigating and great conversation with Barry, didn't get much shooting in. But here's some pics.
