I found the T28 spools fairly quickly but only seems to make 5psi (unless I have a leak somewhere) on the stock actuator.

5psi is fine until I get my TPS issue sorted!

Selling T28....t25 is enough :) need the money to spend on pistons haha

if i use 9:1 ish how will this go if i decide to take the turbo gear off and run it standard again??

What is compression ratio of standard na8?

Cheers

Nonononono!

The T28 isnt about more power.

Its ball bearing also. Its a better turbo in every way. Keep it. Better spool, better torque, better drivability, better everything.

haha i know i know but its worth more than the T25 to sell (and to replace if ever needed), ive spent wayyy more than i wanted and I havent even started doing any work yet! ( i should have just bought shadowruns complete kit!)

anyways...you can buy it if you want :D

9:1 pistons will be ok withuot the turbo bolted on?

I think na8 was only 9.5 std. So will just be a bit slower

I was tossing up between these:

and
http://www.frsport.com/index.php?target ... t_id=26642
but ended up with what Daniel wanted to use. Arias 9:1. Mania liked supertech 8.6:1 though and when they quoted me for the rebuild that is what Dave recommended.

+1 supertechs, based on all advice from people who I know and trust.

Thank you all for advice!
So I think it is going to be either the supertechs or the CP pistons.
Supertechs if my new block measures to be 83.5mm and if it measures up at 83mm I will be going the CP's.

Again, thank you for all your advice, im sure I will be asking many more questions once I start the build!

SO many things to bold onto this car ahhh :?

I can't stop buying things! turbo related and other randoms bits completely unrelated!

Ah well, the next time i drive this car it will be a unique machine!! :D
