Re: Brendan's '89 Roadster
Thought I may as well update my thread for those interested.
I've been slowly collecting a few little parts over the last few months.
I managed to find a front bumper for sale at a wreckers with an oem lip so I bought that for cheap and took the lip off. I did a bit of a refurb and then sold the bumper off to some one who will use it. Also took this chance to paint my mudflaps as well and chuck them back on. They turned out ok but now the lip is worse that it was in the first place from getting in/out of my driveway.
My soft top also decided to begin to split and then turn into a gaping tear.
Also bought a few more little things for the interior:
Shifter extender
Sparco 340mm steering wheel and a short hub boss
Eunos parcel shelf cover
Door cards with the stainless steel speaker plates
I now have 3 pairs of door cards and 2 pairs of stainless steel speaker plates.
My car has also been making this horrible squealing noise which I have found out (thanks to Mr. Pham) is most probably a faulty aircon clutch bearing.
Here are some pictures of how the mx is looking.
