Congrats, glad to see you back in an MX-5 so soon.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

If that's your MX, looks great for the cost so far - well done

Awesome. Time to throw the Torsen in and do some celebratory skids?

So no roof so you can actually drive it? Or do you just push it around the lounge and make vroom vroom noises

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
Thanks everyone
Im very happy with myself on this one. Including rego and insurance.... Under $2000 total. Amazing right? However I did pay a fair bit in fabrication work, and general mechanical work, the old barter system. In fact I just got home from 2 hours away where I assembled a long block and fitted it to return the favour... And called in a few favours, Ive done plenty of free work for acquaintances over the years. Nice to get it back. Keeps my faith in humans haha.
This car was basically a write off just 2 weeks ago. Its actually a perfectly complete and healthy NA6 today, blueslip with flying colours. It had an oil leak which has wet the clutch so I may still need to pull the clutch disk out and give it a bath in petrol, but it is coming better with time
drove it 400km today, all was great.
GEEZ these are good on fuel stock!
Appreciate the support and thanks to my mates who've helped, you know who you are, and some of you already have fresh exhausts...
Dann
PS: Yes thats me and the car. Sexy as right? Cars still little rough though.

Perhaps we need a picture of your GF stood next to the car for some perspective...
