Mark - I'm definitely keen to see more interaction between the Chapters so we'll keep your suggestion in mind for our next round of event planning. I reckon a meet-up at Bathurst would be ideal, with Illawarra getting there via Goulburn & Taralga, and Hunter using the Bylong Valley Way. Then a day exploring the Central Tablelands with Tony King's assistance (ref CTW Event), and then return home on day three.

Our first weekend away will probably head south and would be potentially of interest to Canberra Chapter and Eastern Victoria Chapter, in addition to the cluster of NSW members around Batemans Bay.

Another concept I'm gestating upon is a biannual "StateMeet" where all the NSW Club Chapters can gather and enjoy some friendly inter-Chapter competition in the manner of NatMeet. Hold it in the year between NatMeets in a regional area, much like Hunter currently does with the biannual long weekend trip to Central West. Just a "blue sky" idea at the moment though.

That is a pretty good idea Bryan.
Not so "blue sky" as you say perhaps?
Now for a Blue Mountains/Central Tablelands chapter to complete encirclement of Sydney.

Hi all.

Guran , up in the Hunter we every off natmeet year we do a meet up with QLD Club either in New England or Nth Coast of NSW so its equal drive for each. It has worked well for the last years of 2009 and 2011.Last year we had a superb meet up in Armidale with the QLDers and they won the trophy (well not Official) on the weekend for the events held. So its high priority to get the title back especially how comptative Hunter is. LOL. I think either a great idea is either a joint Canberra meet or even a VICTORIAN meet "Interstate " up down the south coast would be ideal.

Hopefully in the future we can organise a meet up Hunter vs Illawarra as we have ventured that way before for presidents picnic / nsw concourse at the southern highlands. Maybe some thing on the plan for early new year based in the Gong. I will email you some ideas once approved by committee in hunter.

cheers
Mark
