Works Engineering Oil cooler and filter relocation.

Dann installed this oil cooler and relocation kit for me yesterday.

Oil filter relocated to inside the bumper support using rivnuts, gods greatest invention.

Cooler was mounted up under the rad support. blurry pic sucks, sorry.

I'll try to get a few more pics on the weekend with everything back together, we ran out of time and light.

We mounted it with the intent of it not getting much airflow on the street. At the track i can monitor temps and run a scoop from the mouth up to the cooler if needed.

I'm not a big fan of that on white cars, but maybe on a 2nd bumper skin with aero just for track days

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

sh*t man, that burn is way more nasty than I expected when I was told about it.

Thumbs up for just buying another one and continuing on.

Just about to leave for the carwash.

Being lent some wheels/tyres for rego tomorrow.

I dont have a camera right now, but you would be AMAZED at what UNDER $1500 can get you.

Sure its rough, it needs some paint I know, but my god its a complete, healthy running car, gearbox is very nice, diff is silent, clutch is good, no lifter noise, no oil leaks, suspension sucks, but thats cos it has stiff springs on stock shocks.

Hopefully offloading the built 1.6 this arvo, that will free up some funds to purchase a bp4w/supercharger/MS/GT35r etc for the build. Ive been doing my research and I imagine 400rwhp is achievable, however it will be daily'd at 300, as my GF has to drive it.

Dann

PS: when the photos are up and you remember that this has cost under 1500 total, you will realise why I didnt take fire and theft insurance.
