i think you might have been quoting me for the 16x8 +20, 205/45, dumped, wheels rubbing.

I've since got a wheel alignment, 1.5deg neg at the front. No more scrubbing. The reason the left side was scrubbing was that it had 0.5deg positive camber, while the right side had 0.5deg neg camber.

When I have more free time, I will be lowering again to see how far I can push it as well has getting 5 or 10mm spacers.

What's your current height from centre of hub to top of guard? I know you said ~30mm lower than stock, but that doesn't really tell the whole story. Gernally I'd say that assuming you're not stupid low, you should be right, maybe needs a roll.

Also, fenders are American.

Related note: if you ever decide to run spacers that slip on please replace your wheel studs with extended studs prior. There isn't sufficient clearance, even with a 5mm.

You would be surprised what you can fit under stock guards with the "guards" rolled.

Guards are not rolled. Lowered on King Springs on standard SE shocks. No scrubbing whatsoever.

Tyres are Hankook Ventus RS-2s in 205/45/R16.

And I'm going to sell this setup soon.

Thanks Hjt, I'll be avoiding spacers all together. I like being insured :P

Looks like i'll be rolling my fenders with PaulFs Fender. I bet is plays 'smoke on the water' and smells like teen spirit a treat!

I like it! I think there should be a whole section on this forum for "useless thread is useless" threads.
Goes to show bruce, don't be too serious. Its a discussion board after all, not parliament! Too much seriousness gives you cancer!

Yup, definitely getting extended studs. Depending on the spacers I get I'll probably get some open ended nuts as well to suit (or rather will need open ended nuts).

The mx is a show car as well as track toy, current shoes and the future plans for spacers plus more low is for show car, I'll be getting some 15x8 6ul's +36 (i think they were 36) for tracking and motorkhana later. lets me leave semi slicks on the track wheel instead of swapping tyres each time.
