Removing caliper paint?

wow some very strange ideas. You do not remove paint with thinners and prepwash is only for cleaning.

find "paint.exe"

Right click, uninstall.

download and install "clean_caliper.exe"

Or for the uber-geeks:

su: rm-r paint

It's actually 'sudo rm -r paint' or 'su -c "rm -r paint"' assuming it is a directory.

Why not just get a alloy or black heatproof or actual caliper paint and do the lot?

It's actually 'sudo rm -r paint' or 'su -c "rm -r paint"' assuming it is a directory.

or would it be 'kill -9 paint' as a process, my HPux is getting a bit rusty

A wire brush/wheel on an angle grinder will get rid of it all in about 30 seconds.

Might need a recoat afterwards though.

I've found this style of sanding wheel are easier to control and less chance you'll loose skin.

I've used these on thin panels, they're deadly on paint without marking the metal underneath

You need to have Administrator rights to do both

It's quite thick which is good, you can selectively brush it on without getting it on the rubbers or other components.
