MX5 BREAKFAST CLUB
HAWKESBURY VALLEY RUN
[Saturday 7 July '12]

Meet: Mt Colah McDonalds on the corner of the Pacific Highway & Lady Street, Mt Colah.
Time: 7.30am for 8.00am start.

Optional Meet; For those who prefer to join the run later at Middle Dural
Meet 2: Wait on the side of Middle Dural Road immediately before the Old Northern Road intersection.
Time 2: Between 8.20 & 8.30am. Jump on the back as we pass by. No stopping unless we arrive before 8.30am.

Details:
Here is a great little Saturday run for all MX5'ers! Enjoy a scenic drive through the Hawkesbury Valley, along the twisty River Road. The morning run starts off the right way with a healthy serving of hairpin turns as we descent down Galston Gorge. Exiting the gorge we drive Mid Dural Road where we will arrive at our second meeting point at around 8:20-8:30am. From here we turn right onto Old Nothern Road. We make our way through Glenorie and press on to Wisemans Ferry. From here we follow the Hawkesbury River South-West along the many bends of River Road. At the end of the road we will arrive at Sackville and then through East Kurrajong. From here we will cruise up Bells Line Of Road to a much needed hot breakfast at City View Grill, Kurrajong at around 10:30am.

This 120km run is perfect for all MX5's and the proper way to Coffee & Lies. I encourage all MX5'ers; young and old, new or seasoned warriors. See you there!

All BreakFast Club events have a Google Map with directions on the "More Info" page attached to the run hosted on the Club's Events Calendar at https://sitedesq.imgstg.com/customdata/ ... OrgID=4704 :roll:

Wherever possible, a Route Map with a short Run Sheet is handed out before each event.

A link to the Events Calendar is to be found in the opening post on each thread and "More Info" includes a heads up for each event to minimise what needs to be repeated on a briefing before the start.
