NA JDM fog lights

Postby jlo8872 » Sat Jun 09, 2012 5:58 pm

Guys,

I need some help on wiring up these fog lights.

They are fitted to the car and I've run the OEM wiring to the engine bay but can't find where the loom plugs in. Also I've looked under the dash and can't locate the plug that goes into the switch.

Any help would be great. Pictures would be even better.

Paul,

Thanks for the links, I have already been in contact with Mr Nanotech.

My problem is the I have no plug visible on either side of the engine bay in which to connect the JDM wiring loom that came with the fog lights.

My other issue is that there is no plug under the dash for the fog light switch.
Maybe I need the combo switch seen in the UK.

I'm going to try wiring up the lights myself next weekend, I'll use the JDM loom as much as I can.

the circuit explains it all. All these things can be bought quite readily from a local source near you and not expensive. You need wire a relay and a switch and terminals. You do not have to use the JDM loom -if you felt inclined an auto elect would do the whole job and would comment on whether the JDM loom is useful or not. There are many choices of switches- many vehicles have aftermarket switches for lights, caravan connections etc.
