Destroyed another set of pads at Wakefield on Monday, but the odd thing is that the outside edge of the outer pad is wearing significantly faster than the inner edge of the outside pad. Inside bad is wearing evenly.
Any thoughts as to what would be causing this?

Re: Uneven brake pad wear
Is this on the front? Does the outside pad look like this:
So they look thin at the top, and thick at the bottom???
I think I may have solved my problem by degreasing both slider pins (and holes), and then applying a small amount of grease to them. Ala: viewtopic.php?p=652390#p652390
If they are thin at the front and thick at the back, then you have a seized (or very dry) pin

Re: Uneven brake pad wear
I'd say your calipers are flexing. That's the problem with OEM calipers. Not much you can do about it to stay legal in Class 6 and CAMS Supersprints 2B.

Re: Uneven brake pad wear
I had the same issue as Mitch described, my front right lower slider pin had seized. Replacement part was bought thru mx5parts.co.uk easily enough.

Re: Uneven brake pad wear
The worn one is the outer pad.
I'll try new slider pins + grease first up but Phil's thread on the topic is rather interesting too.
