Re: BRASS MONKEY & MX5 RETURN RUN - 3 JUNE 2012
Ok guys... this might be a strange question for me to ask at this stage... but where exactly is the Bathurst Services Club?...
I can't find it on Google... does anyone have a street address so I can actually find out how to get there..?

There is a Town Map with directions and Route Map highlighting RTA fixed and mobile radar zones in 'More Info' on the Events Calendar at https://sitedesq.imgstg.com/customdata/ ... OrgID=4704

If you are keen for a pre-meet before heading to the servos we will meet outside ANZ stadium along Dawn Fraser Ave.
The run starts at 0530 at the twin servos. Ill be at the homebush meet point from 0430 and will leave 0500 sharp
google maps says 25mins to the servos from there.

The Brass Monkey starts its run at 6.00am not 5.30am from the Eastern Creek.
WARNING FOR NOVICES Drive down the slip road from the F4 to the Caltex servo and around the back of McDonalds to enter the truck parking area from the back road otherwise it is long run to get back to the Service Centre as you will be forced on to the F4. If you go past Maccas on the single lane slip road you are in trouble because you cannot turn left into the truck area as the exit will be blocked by roadsters facing and ready to roll onto the slip road and F4.

Got it Mike ;)
For the people who are coming to gather at Olympic Park beforehand, I think it'll still be a good idea to leave by 5am so that we have some time to check out the rest of the cars at the starting point of the run.
Cheers,
Vic

Alan,
I hold your ticket to hand out on Sunday and I would prefer if people contacted me and paid you the $17. I have a waiting list for cancellations at this point. Let me have your thoughts.

Stu, the ants are sealing up the entries to their nests. It rained on and off in 2008 but on the upside it will be an event to remember if the most dire predictions come to pass.
If it is raining, as against the odd shower, out west then the Return Run will be rooted or to be politically correct I should I say rerouted even though the first route was pretty good.
Tickets can be collected at Eastern Creek and at the Bathurst RSL.
