Manifold is looking good, do you have an inside shot of the collector?

You dont want to see it hahaha.

Its ok but has around 2mm gaps, which is fine for weld penetration but doesnt look all pretty.

Id like to have maybe 1mm gaps in the future.

How are you cutting collectors?

Ahh no worries, don't think it will hurt it. I've gone back to using my chop saw but I'm working on a new jig for the bandsaw. I've got the same ozito chop saw as you, its still going strong just don't rely on its dial for measuring angles as its off a few deg

So I was all like 'wtf is that in my letterbox?!' and the letterbox was all 'lol its the egr thing!'

They swapped the billing and postal addresses over...suppose I can go and see if it fits the car.

So here are the photos of the car recently burned out in newcastle.

Yeah, the Black Beast.

What are you gonna do?

A full swap into another much cleaner neater car, and build a 350rwhp BP4W with custom everything !

The plan is to build a neat, streetable track car, It will still be stripped, but will have windows (some of the time) neater paint, a nice interior and seats, and serious boosted performance. With Aero. It will also be used as a bit of a development mule, and a track test car for Works Engineering products.

So heres the photos.

Also today Im finishing off the manifold Ive been teasing with pics, the test fit determined that 'turbo hit block' by about 1mm so a slight realignment of the runners and it will be ready for the full weld up.

What's the story behind the fire? Nothing malicious I hope.

Yeah, 2am saturday night, sitting inside headphones on, see light, go outside cars on fire. Someone threw a burning newspaper in.

Damn that's terrible to hear. Hope the police are involved and you've at least got third party, fire & theft insurance.

The police didnt find anything.

And everyone always talks about fire and theft insurance.

No way in hell.

My excess + premium for one year is greater than the cost of replacing the shell due to my age. And Ive had the car for 3 years. And I dont want them writing it off and taking 10k worth of parts.

Wow, it made a mess of the car! what a waste :(

Some insurers give you salvage rights to your car when it's written off...
