Hi
Looking to buy a single din head unit and install into the double din space.
What additional parts do i need and where do i get them from? I know ill need a pocket, and also wiring harnesses (not really sure what these are) -- but allows me to install without chopping the factory wiring?
How hard is this job on a scale of 1 to 10?
Anyone have a pictorial for NB8A single din install?

Re: Installing a head unit in to an NB8A
Hi wiztek,
I cant help regarding an NB8A install, but last year i installed a single din head unit in my NA Clubman. I bought a wiring harness and cubby hole from MX5 parts. The wiring harness is brilliant, it's so easy. Just plug it in to the new head unit and the other ends into the existing factory radio outlets. Takes all of 10 seconds and everything worked perfectly including the electric ariel. The cubby hole was also very easy to replace and was a perfect fit.
Here's the page on their website for the parts if you wanted to go with them.
