That looks amazing. Very clean look, not like some of the "oem" DRL's that the holdens use. Looks like an afterthought on theirs. Where as yours looks like it belongs.

The circuit board is been correctly prepared with paint, the leds can be aimed for a wider view (being two twin rows).

Still to do more tweaking & twerking of the program and and two extra circuits (headlight intercept and a decent powersupply) as well as casing it all, and then rinse/repeat for the other side.
So far, this has taken *grits teeth* much longer then the previous switchback softfade circuit.. much longer.

Contains twice as many leds, much better balance of light output (the earlier versions the leds became spotty in areas, and looked too commodore r8/early Audi ... with some leds appearing brighter and others darker.

This is much much brighter then the oem globes, uses less current and doesnt rely on the flasher relay. (when the whole car is sorted, the relay will be replaced with another arduino and a more pleasant sound.)

Will give a full feature list when it's all completed : )

Don't mean to revive the thread but.... DAMN!

I need to either A: Find a good kit that I can just swap in or;
B: Learn how to do this stuff/find someone who can...

P.S. Droo your videos on Youtube are sensational! The editing is A++ and the camera quality is amazing! Bit of an avid Youtuber myself, but I cover a completely different genre, however I did go to uni for Photography and Cinematography, so seeing your work is quite inspiring!

This is one of my favs, the colours, editing and composition are impressive (you have to watch it in 720p). Hard to believe it is also 5 years old (2009) :shock:

soon after he bought the 5DmkII, so you can imagine his recent stuff is quite impressive (upgraded to mkIII).

That is great, But there is no further information on how he did it or if it's a kit....

I've been stalking this thread for long before I got my 5 hoping Droo would follow up on this. Such a cool idea.
