Postby SLING » Sat May 19, 2012 4:37 pm

Hi,
Can some one post a photo of there boot lifter or point out where the bars are suppose to go. I believe mine got bumped off the original spot and now my boot lid doesn't lift up.

Boot Lid Lifter

That looks right, just that you need to adjust them to the next notch on each side. Make sure you prop open the boot lid when doing it, with a bit of stick or broom handle etc.

Multi grips are good to move the rods from one notch to the other, also keep an eye on the plastic clip that holds the two rods together it helps hold the tension a bit and keeps them from rattling around while driving.

Thanks Guys, the plastic clip was also a culprit. All good now.

Cheers
