New front bar..... Being small the standard mx5 NB8a front bar has a small mouth.
So I decided to get something to help keep the temps down.

I been hearing about other guys having luck with "triple pass" radiators.
So I proceeded to make my ASI 52mm into a triple pass...
Apparently I have to put a pressure bleed line to to first top "u turn" section
Of the rad.....

This is yet to be tested ..... Am a little worried it may preassurize at high revs. Chinese rads are getting stupid cheap so I'll get a spare and take it to the next event incase my home mod fails.

Don't you only put 1 baffle in the top tank and 1 in the bottom tank to make it a triple pass radiator? It looks like you have 2 in the top tank, or is that weld across the top tank not a baffle?

Slide wall in to re direct flow.... Cut off and plug weld.

Front bar comparison shot.

The other weld you can see is just a join in the original tank, stuck a bit of wire down there to check. So yeah I only put one wall in each tank. So the coolant flows from inlet to outlet in an "s" direction I guess you would describe it as.

I'd love to sit in the passenger seat as you drift your NB, i'm hopeless at holding a drift.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
