Qu's (couldnt find anything on their website):

- Is a roll bar required? (I have a hard top)
- Is a helmet or harness required?

Thanks for tips.

Cheers mate. I also asked my mate who just bought an NB8B if he wanted to come along and he reminded me that another of our mates has his wedding that day. I am terrible with dates. I would like to come to the next one though.

Another noob question: helmets. Where, what type and how much?

Apparently Marulan has hire helmets. That would make more sense for a first track day.

If you plan on doing this sort of stuff regularly, I'd suggest just buying a helmet. An entry level motorcycle helmet is more than enough for the odd track day, any bike shop should be able to help you out.

I'm heading down to Marulan for a visit on Sunday and will bring an old open-face helmet for whoever wants it (NEX brand size XL 61-62cm head circumference). Also bringing my PerformanceBox and laptop for anyone who wants to try it and get some tips on how they can lap quicker. :D

It will be a new track for myself, but I wouldn't mind watching the performance box in action on anyones car.

P.s Are you competing or purely a specie?

Not competing, just coming for a look and to help out. Guys you're ALL welcome to try the PBox, get some lap times, and a few tips on how you can lap faster with real data to back it up. Think of it as driver training but without needing a trainer in your car. 8)
