Hi Justin,
Have you contacted the sponsor and local specialist, MX5 Mania?
Many MX5s end up there to be wrecked or to be turned into race cars and obviously when a NB comes up, the whole roof is for sale.
If you're lucky you might end up with a perfect one and just pay for supply and fitment.

Otherwise you could buy the not-perfect NB soft top and order in a replacement roof.

Maybe there are some other suggestions, e.g. specific motor trimmers who specialise in MX5s and similar cars, who may have the soft top in as-new or new-top replacement, ready to supply and fit.

If you check the mx5 club website mx5.com.au, someone may be advertising one, some time.

I hope this helps.
B.

Cheers for that B. Yeah i've done the 2nd hand roof before on a previous mx5 and whilst it is the cheapest way to go the edging cracked (just over the drivers side window) not long after i bought it and i started getting moisture through the window, hence im after a new roof all together.

Get one off ebay & install it youself is going to be most cost effective - there are a number of online tutorials. A while ago I was quoted about 5 hours labour for soft-top removal & replacement by an independent Mazda workshop.
