All unsold tickets allocated to the MX-5 community have been returned to AHOC for general distribution to people on their waiting list. I confirm that we have allocated tickets to the following persons who lodged their registrations before the sudden cut off date when the Brass Monkey was oversubscribed. For everyone who paid by credit card with MX5 Mania, your tickets can collected from me at the Bathurst RSL on the day.

"WHAT IS THE ROUTE Get to Bathurst as best you can... for which there is a Town Map in the Links if you have nobody to follow into Bathurst or get lost on the Great Western Highway"

Am I missing something? It's a single road with err.. one corner after Lithgow.

Surely it would be more interesting doing something like this?

We can all think of a more interesting route to Bathurst but not if you have to accommodate 100+ assorted cars on a cannonball run with everyone there for breakfast by a set time. :roll:

If you have been on the Brass Monkey then you would know that is not about the route, it is all about the experience.

The interesting route is the MX5 Brass Monkey Return Run south of the GWH that stops at Tarana that is fun and challenging al at the same time. :wink:

As you know the road you nominated from Tarana is not ideal for spirited drive in a convoy and is avoided on club runs for good reason

So potentially being the first Brass Monkey run for me what "typically" happens to the event if it rains?

Cancelled?
Tops down regardless?
Tops up and run happens anyway?

Current forecast:
Sunday - Sydney

Min 14 Max 21 Shower or two

Sunday - Bathurst

Min 4 Max 17 Shower or two.
