My Eyelids Don't Fit!

Haha! That sounds funny!

But seriously...

I bought some NB8B eyelids from here. The profile over the light is fine, so they are correct for my NB8B.
However, the part that is supposed to tuck in under the bonnet seems too thick. Thick enough that my bonnet wont close.

Do most people trim them off in line with the bonnet? Seems strange since these were previously on a car.

Just checking before i get the dremel out.

Double sided tape the whole top strip, all the way along until the corner and a tad for the base. Lift bonnet and apply, slam bonnet on top. Wollah!

Fitted my nb8b fine, as well as regies. I don't think your car is out of line. Must be fitment issue.

Hmm,

Even if i managed to get the bonnet latched, it is propped up higher than the quarter panels.

There's no gap under the lights, and gaps all around the car are nice and even. So I'm sure nothings bent out of shape.

Am i supposed to remove the rubber seals from above the headlights? I don't want to as i think id have to cut them.

They should fit right.

My bonnet had to be closed a bit harder when they were on my nb, but yeah they were a great fit

They've been cut back and I'm prepping them as we speak.
I think I'll be happier with them this way. Rather than my bonnet sitting proud of the quarter panels.
