Fantastic, MX5 club hasn't got any plans to do a Wannaroo day yet but AFARCC will have one coming up that i'm sure they'll advertise some spots for non members.

You'll have great fun, just keep an eye on engine temps and brake pad temps. If your licence plate angles down and blocks flow to the radiator remove it on the day.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Thanks for the advice, I have an extra fan fitted under the bonnet so will be keeping that on to cool the engine. My front plate is a sticker so thats all good :D
Im using PBR racing brake fluid and QFM brake pads.

You will be fine Nicky.

Barbagallo is a great track to play on, it is a lot more technical than it looks on TV or from trackside. The esses, sweeper and then the totally blind run over the hill are very exciting and Kolb corner over the back is very quick and has a positive camber that lets you build up a lot of speed and a lot of G force.

As you are running a turbo car make sure you get a cool down lap before exiting the track, a lap at road pace without using the brakes. When you park up dont put the handbrake on, open the bonnet and let the car idle for another minute before switching off. Leave the bonnet up...heat soak is a killer on an MX5.
