Viper Stripe - thoughts?
Well I wanted to see what it looked like so I spent today putting on these vinyl viper stripes on the front half of the car...
Still not decided whether they're... too much? Thoughts?

Nice but I'd go for a less contrasting colour

Not my thing, personally. I see it and think "mid life crisis". But that's just me.

+1, your car is too dark for white stripes.
Consider light/mid grey stripes instead. Try a bit of photoshopping with different colours and post 'em up for feedback.
I'm a fan of stripes when the colour combination looks right.

Re: Viper Stripe - thoughts?
Sometimes you DO want people to 'look at me', especially if you have found people accidentally driving into your car. The stripes should gather a lot of attention to the car.
I like the look on this car. Colour of the stripe is up to your personal taste, I don't have an opinion/preference since I've not seen the car with the stripe on the street - but a stripe will make it look lots more unique!
Let us know what you end up deciding.

I like the thick and thin stripe combination offset to one side rather than down the middle.
Nothing wrong with the stripes though I do agree with the others comments on colour.

Re: Viper Stripe - thoughts?
I am getting striped decals on the side of my car next weekend.
First photo I like. Second photo I am thinking need to continue stripes to roof and bonnet.
Willmpost up pics of my metallic silver on emerald/grace green when done.
cheers novice1 aka ron

Looks gumby on stock cars, but works on cars like yours.
I keep staring at the photo though and can't help but think something is a wee bit off.
Either the space between is a little too big or the stripes are too thin, but still looks decent as is, I'm just being pedantic.

I think the white is fine but prefer the stripe design of Sharka. see revlimiter.net

Offset stripes in silver on black looks pretty good, although I may be biased.

Re: Viper Stripe - thoughts?
Haha I can't stand offset stripes but I'm a ocd about symmetry .
The op stripes certainly don't look bad. But some think I a touch off for perfection. Maybe stripe to wide?
I don't particularly mind the white though,. Plenty of black cars with white stripes after all.

Re: Viper Stripe - thoughts?
I think it's quite nice.
if you still had stock wheels etc, it would look silly, but because of the wheels and the general look of the car, it works well.
That, and they continue all the way down into the grille (god it looks crap when they stop just after the bonnet)
