see you Saturday at my place for a pre race oil change

You both should have come north to visit me! I'm helping put and engine in and checking my brakes pre-race :)

See you Sunday

Oil and filter change done (66366km)- thanks heaps Regie you're a champ!

I will certainly have to come up your way sometime Hjt! I'm looking to get more auto mechanical experience, and after having a spin in Regies car i'm really itching to improve the stock exhaust system. Everyone already knows, but Regie has one very nice ride, a number of tasteful mods that all come together to make an exceptional package, hard to image how its only going to get better with the racing beat intake! As i was having a great time cruising along I was thinking to myself how really this is the car mazda should have rolled off the production line :)

Good to catch up with you today Kris.

if you do get the headers, give me a bell, i rekon they can be done in half the amount of time i took to do mine.

And i do have access to a hoist next door, so easy as! :D

Got pulled over at a RBT in Ulladulla on the way home Sunday.
One copper took a quick walk around the car then crouched down and checked the wheel size.
Very happy to be running 17X8 ET50!

Maybe he just noticed your damage on the front left of the bumper? Was that recent?

Thanks guys it was great seeing you all out on the track! It really is a tough decision between the RPF1s and PF01s! I also really want to go 9" aswell but knowing my luck on the road i'll probably get busted turning out of my driveway! Can anyone confirm if going 9" will bump you out of the modified nc class? I've heard around that 9" is required to get all the power of a supercharger down on to the road :) One can only imagine what that feels like!

Ulladulla really is the scenic way home after a day at the track! Much nicer drive though i'm sure.

9" looks great but they'll put you out of the class as 8" is max.
When you go to a supercharger you can run 9"...BUT that's still not legal on the road unless engineered.
It appears that coppers are well aware that NCs are lookng at 9" and are prepared to ping them...wouldn't then want them lifting the bonnet and finding an un engineered blower as well.

Ulladulla was nice as always, went through to Braidwood from WP for lunch then down to Batemans Bay then a gentle cruise up the coast home.

The damage was dear taking a different route into the driveway. I'll get it fixed after the next supersprint round on 21st at EC.

Oh that's right, I do believe you were not the driver at the time. :)

I was running around at the back of group 4 on normal road tyres.
Only did 3 runs and starting to get the car sorted on those tyres then, to get a few brownie points, took Susan to lunch.
