NatMeet 2012 Saturday day trip from Sydney?

Just wondering if anyone is planning to head down to the NatMeet on Saturday morning from Sydney?

Weather permitting im planning to head down to take a look at the Concours and show and shine event from 9am -1pm..

Anyone else have this on the cards?

Hey Regie, I hope your wheels have lock nuts!! You may come out and find some NCLE wheels on your car

They have new tyres though!!!

nup just the appearance package kit...front lip, bigger skirts, and rear lip (would love the MS bumpers though)

What time are we leaving?

I am figuring it's about a 3.5 to 4 hour (from memory)drive via the most direct route posted speed limits (double demerits remember???). Do we aim to get there at the starts or some time around 10 ish?

Canberra to Sydney is about 3hrs while staying under the speed limit the whole way. I regularly have to drive from the Canberra CBD to Macquarie Park; <3hrs each way.

Heads up on the average speed camera as you come on to the Federal though. It's about a 20km stretch.

Colster and I are meeting at SUTHERLAND railway station Gloria Jeans at 6.25am and we will leave at 6.35am GONE not waiting . F3 , Appin, Wilton, then the hwy south if you want to join us please do .

Ok. Looks like it might be a little too complicated to organize a convoy from Sydney to depart around 630am from a central location.

Regie, are you still up for it? Shall we all meet at the venue from 930 and keep an eye out for NSW plated 5's?

Thanks to Grant for organizing this run, whilst it was only the two cars, we had the best time just cruising down, joining in the fun at the show and shine (talking not showing) and a gentle cruise home!
