Very true unfortunately! Head & cam package time line (and cost) blew out rather spectacularly.

To answer the question though
Cams, head Port, shave, oversize valves, manifold port,cop, direct fire, timing belt, water pump, re route, clutch slave and line. New bing rocker cover, new headers, cat and maybe exhaust. New air box and cai.

I'll probably be back on the road prior to the air box and exhaust.

I'll make a special Friday run when its all together.

Nah didn't pull the bottom end out of the car. I'll do clutch and flywheel when it goes or if I do the bottom end. All good at the moment though.

Let's get gee'd up for Friday-week, 6th April, peoples as we should be having a guest from "Mexico" to show around.

It's been a while since most of us have gone down to Samford, so the plan for the night will be to meet as per usual at Cootha, stop for a breather at Jolly's Lookout, keep going up the mountain toward Samford, quick turnaround and head straight to coffees.

I'm in need of new tyres, so just in case I don't get them in time, I might need to reserve a shotgun seat.

PS: anyone know of any places to get KU31's for around $80?

PPS: If we all meet at Cootha on time, ie. before 1930, it has been suggested to take some happy snaps as the lighting there is not too bad.

PPPS: I'll also scope out how busy Kangaroo Point cliffs are (at the bottom) this Friday night, and if it's deserted and well lit, we can go for a buzz there after coffees for some artsy-fartsy shots.

I thought Good Friday was later in April. Aaaargh, the combination of me being Catholic AND dyslexic when it comes to dates is just bad.

I've pondered about people's fear of Police attention, but I figure that if we get pulled over many, many times (which we don't) and they let us go every time (which they do) then it just becomes a matter of familiarity, ie. they know WHO we are, WHEN we go, and we're all just happy little fully-complianced, roadworthy Vegemites

For those who have wondered, IIRC, in the last four years we've been pulled over four times (one of those being a simple RBT), and approached, whilst parked, twice. Each time we went on our merry way afterwards.

okay, so the bottom of Kangaroo Point is poo, although deserted and a nice place for a picnic, lighting is shite.... unless you have super-cool long-exposure doobie-wacks and have a good eye for pretty backgrounds. The top is good though, but might be full of TGIF boozers.
