Hope everyone had a good drive and day out :D visiting new places or rekindling fond memories of drives past  .

Could Timothy and Andrew send high definition images to Bryan. If you do not have his personal email address send me an email and I will flick it on to you

Apu received a panicked phone call though... since we arrived at McDonalds approx 7.50AM and there were no MX5s! I thought I was getting to the other Bryan, since I could not get through to the drive leaders... but we just DIYed the route which worked out fine since we did get through to Deen once we got to the next town.

Trish loved the tiffany blue bar...and loved the loud orange wheels on Chris' NC... so it looks like her white NA will be getting some loud green colour on some wheels and roll bar. :D

PS Chris is VERY easy to spot now as the wheels WHEELY stand out.
Plus the lovely dark NA with PINK plates "to bring out your feminine side" thanks for the wave! We ended up driving from the nut farm back to Katoomba (drooling over Lou's chrome-yellow Cayman, ahem v.v.v.rare NB factory fastback), visit to friend at cafe then hotel, lounging around and then drove back the opposite way, Little Hartley to Lithgow, Bells Line of Rd, apple shopping at Bilpin and then some terrible route via Richmond airport!

Thanks to the organisers. Is it possible to post up the google map route onto the first post a few days before the drive? Subject to weather/changes of course. That way we can have something to bring along as a hardcopy in case of GPS shenanigans.

What a great drive, everyone. Hope to do many more. :)

PS. Lou I tried to get your attention beyond a wave at the Bells Line of Rd intersection - since your left repeater light had fallen out and was hitting against the panel.

I'll just chime in with my thanks to the organisers as well! It was a great day with plenty of roads that I never knew existed but will definitely have to go back to. Vic needs to hurry up and get his car running so he doesn't need to "sample" more of our cars.

Sorry about that Bizi  but my watch said 7.55am when we walked over to the cars in the car park to get ready to depart :frown: . My watch is in sync with the time clock on my laptop and as I look up with Foxtel

Deen do you have any recollection of the time we left Maccas :?:

Bizi, we try to start a BreakFast Club Run at the advertised time. :D

I cannot explain the 10 minute differential. :?

Bizi I suspect you check your time piece. :P I do not make a practice of leaving before an advertised time and use my best endeavours not to depart later. :)

Deen posted the change on 17 March 2012, see page 2. The new Google Map with directions was inserted as a link in "More Info" at the same time.

 time to draw and quarter Ben i think

i had a missed call from Ben at 6:57 and spoke to him a few minutes later on Trish's phone at 7:03. We can't have been more than 2 minutes down the road when we spoke, so i reckon we left at 7 sharp.

Still Ben's fault if you ask me :P since the post DOES say 6:30 for a 7am start.. so a little earlier to sign in and hear the very important leaders briefing would have been good.

Hey Deen,

Where are your looking back(side) shots :?:

By the way boys, what happened to the vids from Harley (I saw a branch in my path that you say I changed into a dead snake that popped out from under my rear wheels by a miracle that I am yet to see) :o and Neil with his snazzy over windscreen cam 8) . Did either of you film the fast run of the twists and turns through the rainforest between Mt Wilson and MT Irvine :?:

Michael, I have some great footage of you flicking the lexus the "bird" and a few nice twisty roads, I just have to perfect the videos first.
