MX5 BREAKFAST CLUB - CTW EVENT - 28 & 29 APRIL 2012

A FREE-SPIRITED WEEKEND RUN FOR MX5 CLUB MEMBERS

Q: What is this Central Tablelands Weekend (CTW) Autumn Colours Run all about? How do I know if it’s for me?
A: Well, try this quick quiz!

If you answered yes to all these questions, then this is the event you’ve been waiting for!

This epic two day run will start from Bathurst on Saturday morning and will utilise a maze of scenic, seldom used rural back roads, lined with trees in late autumn colours. It will finish up in Wallerawang near Lithgow at around lunch time on Sunday.

Why not also consider The BreakFast Club’s (optional) Prologue Run to Bathurst on Friday? It will utilise the well known Putty Road and the wonderful Bylong Valley Way, and will provide an ideal way to kick off the weekend’s adventures with a run through the heritage village of Hill End, all on sealed roads.

Due to on road management and safety issues, numbers are strictly limited to 20 MX-5s. If you think this run is for you, please initially contact Midori (Michael Soulos) for details regarding registration and the procedure for securing accommodation. Michael will subsequently establish a list of confirmed starters that he will periodically update in this thread.

A Road Book for the event has been prepared and hard copies with additional information will be handed out prior to the event. The Central Tablelands Weekend is only for financial members of the MX-5 Club of NSW. :roll:

Unlike the normal monthly BreakFast Club runs that are open to everyone in the MX-5 community unilaterally adding your name to the list does not secure a spot.

Successful members will be informed and have their name added to this list by Tony or me :wink:

Tony promises a great two day drive in his backyard

on roads less traveled

away from highways and major roads linking towns and cities for most of his route :lol:

The dates selected is the weekend when traditionally the autumn colours are at their best in the region.

Hey Tony and Michael, I am firming as definite starter for this epic event.

Think I might take the day off on Friday and complete the whole event....

No accomodation required as I am staying with my mum in Bathurst.

Might have a +1 but will need to throw open to the floor as my bro is a highway patrol officer...

What say the floor?

There is no downside to your brother joining the CTW. :wink:

We can get Officer King behind your wheel as a forward escort to lead along the major highways and hotspots and see what happens, use a thief to catch a thief thing. :roll:

There must be other positives for other punters to put forward apart from the fact that your mother thinks very highly of your brother who is in the job and drives a sensible four door family car with bright flashing safety lights so people can see him approaching.
