it was only a test to see if it peeled off easily.

Do you think it will peel off by itself?

if you paint or dip over chrome there is a good chance it will have poor adhesion. To change from chrome to black a paint is going to do the same job - maybe with a primer- and for little cost.

He has missed the point, so don't be too unkind.

+1 to Regie, a perfect application for a removable paint.

I've got a set of white wheels...looks like they may be hit with plasti-dip and a set of stickies!

Guys... can I just reinforce the fact that we should all get some decent masks before its application?? (Especially if you need to spray so much for something like the wheels).

I've emailed the distributor where we can get a discount for buying together. Their postage is a killer though $10 minimum for a $40 can is a fair bit but I think it's $10 for 1 or 5 cans based on weight.

I'll let you guys know when I hear back from him

Btw. Any issues with Plasti Dip?... especially after a prolonged period of time?

Go easy on me...Mrs' car and she's so Irish, her name's iTrish!
She's keen on green wheels (I talked her out of respraying the NA green :D).

What shades of green are available? :) I'd be tempted to spray both the current white Lenso wheels green AND the set of 3-spoke wheels I've yet to use. Maybe even some Watanabes, too!

I figure there may be a Kawasaki green...which would be great for some wheels, even in a green/black combo. Sometimes seen on some Kwakas at PITS.

Maybe we can arrange a group asphyxiation.

Non erotic! Leave on ya belt!

OK, my googling found a few variations of the product, including this.
A 22oz can with five tints. Maybe suitable for people looking for a colour.

Check out this thread for both plasti dip pic options and some autox lolz. Especially the final VTec pic!
