I bought a tan glass windowed top for my 93 le, from the same people nearly 2 years ago.
Took me and a mate about 3 hours and used alloy pop rivets also, probably should have replaced the rain rail have a few cracks but don't notice any leaks, the "rain gutters" work really well left the window down an inch in a light shower (parked for 2 hours) and no water on the door trim.
The straps they shipped to convert my NA frame to support the no-zip glass were a different type to the instructions, but with a bit of searching I was able to guess at the distances needed, the straps go from the rear most bar to the second from the front (the instructions suggested they should go to the second from back). So i had to fiddle with the alignment as they didn't work when I first put them in the car. Because of the fitment issue I emailed them and they sent straps that would work according to the instructions, I still haven't fitted them as I re-drilled and made the longer straps work, one day ill get to them but ill need to remove the top from the frame to get it just right.
My application of 303 (didn't rub till dry) might be to blame but there are some "rubbing" marks on the top now. They should come off but think I need to use a brush with the 303 cleaner, have only tried to remove them with a cloth, I don't think you would be able to see the marks on a black top.
I think the colour has changed slightly also, but again probably because I took so long getting 303 on it (over a year) and the tan still looks good.
So it is a great product that is well supported, but I would look for a NB frame if I was to do the same upgrade again.
