Hey all,
Yes I have searched and yes I have located the problem but have not fixed it.
My air con is leaking water from the "clamp" that is used to hold the two parts under the glove box compartment together, basically when the pump is running the seal is non existent and it begins to drip etc.
My questions is, is there a direct replacement Mazda part, I'm thinking i'll use tape to thicken the seal before reapplying the clamp firmer. I have attempted to bend the existing clamp to tighten the hold but the inside seal is just worn to thin to hold out any pressure.
Anyone came across this problem in the past?

Have you tried cable ties?
It's been nearly 10yrs now since I did it, and haven't had any leaks since (touch wood).

The clamps roughly and inch wide would need some monster cable ties

Im not familiar with the clamp, but cant you buy a big old T Bolt clamp and go to town with a ratchet on it?

Trying to picture it here too, there's a smaller hose that drains the water from the aircon to under the car, have you checked that's not clogged causing the water to back up and drip out of the connector?
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Pulled the hose earlier today and cleaned it, didnt fix the issue unfortunately. I can't overtighten it Dann because it will crack since its plastic. I'll add more padding to the oem clamp and tape the gap together prior to using the clamp!
Thanks

Can you just use silicone glue?
