I have fitted wilwoods to the front of my track only na6
Now I need to upgrade the rear without spending heaps of money (none left )
Anyone care to tell me how to go about it
Should I use my existing calipers with dog bone brackets and bigger rotors ( dontcostalot )
Or should I try to find a set of mazda 275mm brakes with matching calipers ( hard to find )
Or would standard Na8 brakes be OK (easy to find and dontcostalot )
Forgot to mention I already have a wilwood proportioning valve
anyone have anything for sale

I run SE front brakes and NB8A rears. I find it works well for me but I tend to trail brake a bit late. I'm using a non-ABS NB8A prop valve.

I'm sure I saw a set of brand new NB rear calipers and discs on ebay for 200 or 300 today. Might suit your needs?

I'm sure I saw a set of brand new NB rear calipers and discs on ebay for 200 or 300 today. Might suit your needs?

Yep, either 250 or 255, the bigger NB8B/SP/SE etc are 270 or 275 from memory.

Try an adjustable brake balance valve, and you can dial in the balance as needed. Play with pads, a nice soft grippy pad might help.

He has one (see the first post) and it won't produce the ideal response. Prior to the proportioning valve cracking, you'll have less rear bias than you need until you upgrade to bigger rear brakes.
I vote keep your calipers (they are close to identical), get some later model brackets and rotors and pads.
Of course you might just be able to choose a really high-mu rear pad compound and get half way there for minimum budget.

Thats just what I did
Got sloted NA8 rotors and caliper brackets
Now I need pads, Tossing up between yellow stuff and hawk HP+
Any opinions appreciated
Ive already read heaps of posts and there dosn't seem to be much between them
Can I expect much difference between NA6 and NA8 rotors
Will I have to play with the proportioning valve
