I was asked to post this on behalf of Joe Kovacic, a MX-5 Club of NSW member.
The Bathurst 12 Hour will be held on 24th-26th February. Entry for spectators is normally $30 at the gate or $20 in advance. The organisers are offering a deal for car clubs that if they can get at least 10 cars entering, the drivers will get free admission for both days and be able to show their cars together on the Saturday. Passengers will need to pay for entry as only the driver gets in free. Joe is keen to get together a group of MX-5 owners to join him. Accommodation on the Saturday night is being organised at a little town just outside of Bathurst, and costs $120 per room for up to 4 people.
Contact Joe Kovacic on 0403 106 012 if you have an MX-5 and want to attend. Ideally you would need to be a member of the MX-5 Club too, but that's probably not essential. Deadline for submitting the application form is 26th January, so please be quick about it!

Re: Bathurst 12 Hour - free entry!
I'd be doing this with Dad (Joe) so you can pretty much count 2 cars entered straight away.
Assuming Redondo wants in as well thats only 7 to go.

Yes, a minimum of 10 cars is required to qualify for this deal. Quote from the application form:
Providing a minimum of ten vehicles attend from a car club, the driver of each vehicle will be provided with a complimentary three day pass, Harris Park vehicle sticker to access the reserved area for your car club and the opportunity to conduct a parade lap of the Circuit on Sat 25 Feb 12. Note, all passengers in vehicles will need to purchase a ticket either through Ticketek in advance of the Event or at the Gates (children 17 and under are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult).
Like I said in the first post, Joe (Luke's dad) is organising this and anyone who wants in should give him a call ASAP on 0403 106 012. Deadline for applications is 27th January!

Re: Bathurst 12 Hour - free entry!
Guys, my Dad just forwarded me the form.
Doesn't seem to ask for a club membership number, but I still gather they would check....
On the form it asks for:
PM me with your email and I will send it to you.
The instructions for sending the form is on the the form itself.
Also, the coordinator of this is Emma Curtis at Bathurst Regional Council.
You can contact her on 02 6333 6158 or email emma.curtis@bathurst.nsw.gov.au if there are any further questions you may have.

Ok since we did not get the minimum of 10 people, it is not happening.
I'm still going anyway, just will have to pay.

I took the Suby
I did say hello to a couple of guys in a green car, unfortunately it was raining so the conversation was brief!
I did see the silver car in town.

Re: Bathurst 12 Hour - free entry!
shame i didnt see you, we were camped behind the number 1 garage watching all the fun and woken to the sound of rattle guns at 2am. nothing like a 1 million dollar car for an alarm clock to get you going in the morning.
but up at 3.30 am for race day was tough. it was the walk of the zombies at the shed.
