Re: seat trim....
You can get 'seat covers' from a number of the MX-5/Miata aftermarket suppliers overseas. These are not seat covers as we normally know them, but rather you remove the existing covering and replace it with the new. Leather is an option. Most of the ones I have seen on the web cater for the head rest speakers.
Have a look on the big forum and you should find plently of info.
Just thought of an old 'group buy' on this forum for new seat coverings not sure if it was on this version of the forum, or the previous version?

Re: seat trim....
I wanted to keep the factory look so i searched for the original black seat material.. after months of searching i almost resorted to buying a whole seat in order to get the original trim when i came across a site in the UK selling the seat trim off the actual seat. Bought this and used some of the panels to retrim the whole base of my drivers seat by a local upholsterer.

No, rather than the single charcoal colour the NA8 seats have a 'dotty' pattern in them.....hard to put into words. Might try and get some photos and post them here.

Re: seat trim....
A trimmer can certainly re do the seats though an exact match is another thing. You should still be able to get a very good quality material that will look and wear well for years. If the covers are not worn out just faded you can dye the material and the cost is next to nothing.

Slight variation also with the seat material/ pattern in the '96-'97 NA8.

Re: seat trim....
hey there, I bought mine from www.leatherseats.com they are highly customisable, and I fitted them myself in a few hours.....
They look great and fit better than OEM if you take your time.

anyone here tried this yet?
This ebayer in Sydney advertises their MX5 leather seat covers from time to time for $199 & $299: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MAZDA-NA-NB- ... 3f156cfc3c
There's also a company in Silverwater that supplies them, which could be the above, but I haven't checked. Search "Silverwater leather" on here for more info.
