I have just painted over it with black, so it doesn't stand out as much, I'll post a pic once I'm done sanding it back.
You can find the new style here
I bought one as well...but didn't really want the leather surround and just realise it doesn't come with a front plate....I think that was kinda stupid not to come with one.

So I'm in the same boat as you Alex...just going to wait and see what you do with yours

Well I've re painted the panel "dulux flat pack black" and the screws too. Also when you do put the hazard light box over into the new panel, the screws provided aren't long enough to screw in and sit flush at the front. So I just painted in what was left on the thread. I'll post a pic later but I have a bit more work to do on it first.. Unfortunately its also not a super clean fit (despite what rev9 say) I'm going to have to pad it out a fair bit so that the left hand fits "some what" flush

on a happier note... this bit is done!

Efforts from this weekend, mainly last night.
Got a fair bit done all the seals are back in along with a bunch of other random stuff, should be ready to fit door cards this evening and maybe hang doors early Wednesday.
Anyway here's what counts:

Are you going to put the carpet back in or just have the carpet over the trans tunnel with a stripped interior?

That interior is perfect as is! Who needs doors, really?
