We're enroute to Canberra and have a sus front tyre on the BMW. I would like to get a pair of KU31 in 225/45 x 17 on arrival there tomorrow just after midday. Any recommendations (with an address) so I can look it up tonight?
Thanks.

Kmart usually have good prices on Kumho tyres. Stores are at Belconnen and Tuggeranong.

Hmmmm.....might even consider going via Tempe as it will only add about 30 minutes to the trip and they seem to carry the full range.

Re: Kumho Tyres In Canberra
Yep they are pretty good on price and service.
2 weeks ago I had fitted and balanced 4x 205/40/17's in KU31 to my racing hart SE rims for $440. And I literally called them the day before at 4pm, showed up in the morning, went home and still got to work (11am) on time.
Still havn't put them on the car though.
Only thing I'm going say to check is the balancing weights.
Half of mine have fallen off!!!
They may have fallen off because I just had the rims resprayed and then I waxed them so they had a very smooth surface.
Tempe seem to use some sort of double sided tape to cause no damage to the rim. I say bugger that and put them on properly which I am going to get done at my local Jax. Never had a problem with clean waxed rims and wheel weights before so I'm still sticking with the Tempe method for sticking weights on is crap.

lol, they would use the same methods to stick the weights on. heavy duty double sided tape is what i have seen all tyre shops using for years. well since the 90s anyways.

Re: Kumho Tyres In Canberra
1300 or so km later the weights are still attached. Wet grip seems much better than what I was getting with the Toyos.
